Explore what’s really going on beneath the surface…

Welcome! I’m Craig, a psychodynamic psychotherapist offering therapy in Peckham, South East London and online.

In therapy, we will explore the unique complexities and subtleties of your way of being, creating space for discovery, challenge, change, and new possibilities.

I look forward to hearing from you.

What is psychodynamic therapy?

Psychodynamic therapy helps you think about what may be operating outside of your conscious awareness and how this influences your feelings, thoughts, relationships, and ways of relating to the world.

Together we will explore patterns, conflicts, and emotional experiences that may feel difficult to understand or put into words. Through this process, new meanings can emerge, creating the possibility for change.

My Services

  • Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

How we work together will depend on your individual needs and what you hope to gain from therapy. This may involve short-term work focused on a current difficulty, or longer-term therapy to develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, patterns, emotions, fears, and anxieties.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy focuses on how past experiences and unconscious processes may shape present difficulties and ways of relating.

    Typically once weekly sessions.

  • Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy

A more in-depth exploration of unconscious processes, inner conflicts, beliefs, fantasies, desires, and emotions through a consistent therapeutic relationship and more frequent sessions. Psychoanalytic work is not a ‘quick fix’, and longer-term work should generally be expected.

I am currently undertaking further training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy with The Guild of Psychotherapists and currently have some availability for new clients.

Twice weekly sessions (or more). Fees can be discussed during the initial consultation.

Fees

  • Initial Consultation

    No charge.

The initial consultation is an opportunity to ask further questions and determine whether we are a good fit to work together. There is no fee and no obligation to continue if it does not feel like the right fit.

  • Standard Session

    Between £70 - £90 per session.

I welcome open discussions about fees and will try to be flexible if needed when possible. The fee is the same regardless of whether in-person or online. For multiple sessions per week, fees can be discussed and negotiated.

 FAQs

  • Psychodynamic therapy helps you think about what may be operating outside of your conscious awareness and how this influences your feelings, thoughts, relationships, and ways of relating to the world.

Together we will explore patterns, conflicts, and emotional experiences that may feel difficult to understand or put into words. Through this process, new meanings can emerge, creating the possibility for change.

  • The consultation is an opportunity for us to think about whether we are well-suited to work together. I will invite you to talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. I will likely ask clarifying questions to begin to understand your experience. I will explain how I work and what therapy together could look like and you can ask any questions you may have.

There is no fee for this initial meeting and no obligation to continue.

  • Each week you will be invited to speak about whatever feels most important to you. This might involve current difficulties, relationships, recurring patterns, memories, dreams, thoughts, or feelings that have stayed with you. I will listen closely and offer observations and questions that may help deepen our exploration. Over time, we may begin to notice patterns and meanings that were previously outside awareness. As these become more understandable, new possibilities can emerge in how you experience yourself, your relationships, and your life.

As our work develops, aspects of these patterns may also appear within the therapeutic relationship itself. This can provide a valuable opportunity to explore them together in a thoughtful and contained way.
