About me

Originally from Scotland, I have lived in multiple countries before settling in London. Having experienced many transitions and cultures, I understand the complexities of change, identity, and belonging. My practice is a welcoming, safe space for people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

My personal journey with psychodynamic therapy has been transformative in many ways—it’s why I became a psychotherapist and the reason I believe so fully in this process. Nature is also a grounding influence for me, reminding me of our cycles of change and renewal, and I aim to bring that same sense of balance and groundedness into my work with clients. I regularly attend conferences and talks to keep up to date on issues around gender, sexuality, race, class, and disability within psychotherapy. My work is supervised in accordance with BACP accreditation standards.

I undertook a Master’s degree in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths University of London. My clinical experience includes working with NHS Talking Therapies through The Awareness Centre in Wandsworth and The Good Mental Health Company in Elephant and Castle. Before this, I completed a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Psychology and a certificate with Counselling & Psychotherapy in Scotland (COSCA). I am currently undertaking further on-going training with The Guild of Psychotherapists in psychoanalytic work.

I am an individual member with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and subscribe to the BACP Ethical Framework.
